Who can apply to the competition?
Preliminary and high school students can apply for the competition. You can look at the “Specifications” document for further information.

What are the competition rules?
You can click on the “Specifications” icon on the homepage to obtain the details about the competition rules.

Do we have to pay a fee to apply for the competition?

No you do not. You can apply for the competition without paying a fee.

Can we apply for this competition as a group?

Yes, you can. However, your group should consist of maximum 3 participators.

Can we establish a group with students, who are from other schools? 

Yes, you can.

Is it a “must” to participate with an advisory teacher?

Yes, it is. However, we may provide you some alternatives if you are unable to find an advisory teacher for yourself or for your group.

 
With how many projects can we apply for the competition?

A student can apply individually or with his/ her group for the competition with only one project.

Can I update my information after I have applied for the competition?

You can update your username and your log in process for maximum three times after you have applied for the competition. Moreover, you can renew your project and your report. Your pictures, reports and displays are deleted after each update process and the new versions are then inserted in your part.

Can I make an formal application via posting my documents?

You can apply for the competition via the online application process. Formal application is only admitted, if you are not able to access to an internet connection. If you do not have such connections, you have to inform the organization secretariat through info@ebiko.org.

What do I have to do after I am done with my application process?

If you are done with your application process, you have to wait for the results of the preliminary evaluation and the final process that are carried out by an evaluation committee. You can keep up with the latest news via our website.

How can I apply for the competition?
You have to click on the “online application” icon and follow the procedures that are explained within that part

I cannot find the name of my school from the list. What should I do?

If your school is not registered within the system, you have to type in the name of your school.

Who is to meet the costs of the great final that is to be held in Ankara?

The Association of Technological Design Center will bear the accommodation, food, traveling, transferring costs of the contestants, who are to attend the great award ceremnony, which is to be held in Ankara. However, the costs are to be met if the contestants accept to stay in hotels and take the vehicles that are offered by the involved association. Moreover, the traveling costs to Ankara are not included into the costs that are met by the association.

With whom are we to meet in Ankara, as we arrive at Ankara?

A special staff shall be assigned by the Executive Committee. The staff  members are to be assigned at different destinations, so that you are welcomed by any point at which you arrive. The involved staff shall bring you to your hotel and to the presentation areas.

Where am I to stay in Ankara?
The Executive Committee shall cooperate with definite accommodation centers to provide a suitable place for you. Moreover, a staff member will accompany you during this process, so that you can find your way easily.

Do I have to book my place before I arrive at Ankara?

Yes you have to. You have to book your place during the periods that are announced. You can keep up with such processes via our website.

How can I make a registration to your website?
Write your “Username” on the space that is allocated for you and define a password for yourself, so that you can log in at any time when you want. If you still have not applied for the competition, you should then click on the “online application” icon. Then your next stage is to follow the instructions that appear on your screen.

What should I do, if I forget my password?
Come to the “Username” screen. There is a part like “ did you forget your password?” Click on this part and enter correct information about yourself. If your information passes with the one you have entered before, you will have the chance to create your new password.  
 
 
What should I do, if I do have problem with my internet connection during the competition stage?
You have to renew your processes in such cases, because if your are having a lack of internet connection, this shall mean that you have a lack of connection in terms of our system.  
 
Which internet scanner shall I use for the competition?

Prefer Internet Explorer 6.0 or the updated versions or mozilla firefox 3.5.1 or the updated versions in order to follow a problemless competition process.

I receive a message like “ your logins is terminated”. What shall I do? 

You may have stay open for a long time or you may have problems you’re your internet connection. Please make a new entry to the competition.
